My discussions with Varun began more than half a decade ago around topics such as workplace challenges, possible career prospects, and spiritual growth.

In retrospect, it would be appropriate to call those discussions consultations, for they have had a profound impact on my life. A couple of years ago, I had a particularly difficult and toxic manager who made working a dreadful experience. I searched for a job for over 9 months, but nothing worked out. I even subscribed to paid services on a job portal, but no luck. I finally gave up looking for a job as the hunt so far had been futile. One day, Varun suggested I visit the Sri Prasanna Ganapati temple in Koramangala, Bengaluru, as it was supposed to help with job-related issues. I was occupied at that time, I couldn’t make that visit.

A few weeks later, he asked me again if I’d visited the temple, and I realised I had completely forgotten about it. The next morning, I went to the temple and took Lord Ganesha’s blessings. The same week, I received a call from a very reputable company for an opening that I hadn’t even applied for. Three rounds of interviews later, I had secured a new and much better-paying job than my current one—all thanks to Lord Ganesha’s blessings and Varun’s guidance to visit the temple.

Earlier this year, I was initiated into Shiv Deeksha—another spiritual expansion suggested by Varun. While still undergoing the initiation, a work-related message came through that normally would have ruffled me a bit. However, a deep sense of calmness and faith in the Shiva tattva overcame me, and I felt untouched by this trivial incident. I was amazed at the power of and in awe of the Shiv Panchakshari mantra.

Rudraksh had always fascinated me, and I wanted to wear a rudraksh as I felt it would help with my spiritual progress. Varun did a meticulous study of my astrological chart and also sourced an original rudraksha for me. He talked me through his study of the chart and why he chose the rudraksh for me.

From just wanting to wear a rudraksh, Varun elevated my understanding of which rudraksh to wear, how to wear it, and how to care for it. That is something which I personally find enriching and absolutely joyful.

it broke, and 1 month after the consultation it got infected.
